NSKA Central sets new attendance record with 53! Two anglers with NWA ties land in top 3 and show out on lake Conway!
John Wofford was able to put up an impressive 94.50 inches using a Chatterbait and a senko. John has recently relocated to central Arkansas but is showing no lack of tournament experience coming for the very competitive NWA group. This angler is set to make a good run at AOY having an early top 10 and now a win.
Jeff Malott drove down from NWA and launched in the middle of the lake and just went fishing! Mallot shared he used a creature bait on cypress trees on a flat in the middle of the lake. Jeff threw up 92.50 inches, a great haul for any event. He also submitted the most fish on the day. Looking ahead, Dardanelle is venue this angler knows well. If he jumps in, it’s very likely he ll be a contender in that event.
Eric E. Morris is no stranger to landing in the top 3, the Chatterbait master had a great run last spring and it seems he is picking up where he left off with spring time fishing. Eric shared he fished a flat off a creek to land all his fish focusing on areas he knew lily pads were growing under the surface. Eric grinded out 90.25, catching some late culls!
Jeff Becker was able to capture Big Bass with a 21.5 inch fish he caught on a Chatterbait, he shared the fish hit near the yak and it was very tense 20 seconds getting her to the boat without the line breaking! Jeff also finished 4th in the event!
James Davis landed in the last money spot using a black and blue jig shallow. He shared he moved once but had to come back to a small area mid way back in a creek where he caught all his fish, a late cull and grinding the day out secured him a money spot !
Thank you James P. Whited Jr. for another great job judging fish while also running a business, you the man!
